Robert Trestan
Vice President, Western Division at Anti-Defamation League
Robert Trestan is an accomplished civil rights leader and attorney, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Anti-Defamation League's New England office.
He focuses on program delivery, community relations, and advocacy initiatives to promote justice, equity, and inclusion.
Robert is actively involved in combating anti-Semitism and all forms of hate as the ADL Vice President of the Western Division, overseeing multiple regional offices.
With a background in law, he has provided expertise on hate crimes internationally in countries like Austria, France, Israel, Poland, and Turkey, and trains law enforcement personnel across Europe.
Before joining ADL, Robert held roles such as Director of Civil Rights at the Boston Housing Authority and Assistant Public Defender in Naples, Florida.
He holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Government from Trent University.
