Robert Strods

Robert Strods is the Head of Business Development at DiGas, a position he has held since March 2023. He is based in Riga, Latvia, and has over ten years of experience in the energy and cleantech sectors, particularly focusing on gaseous fuel refueling infrastructure.

In his current role, Strods is responsible for setting up the business development and sales infrastructure, which includes customer relationship management (CRM), procedures, training, and reporting. He has successfully partnered with key customers in new market segments and leads a team of account executives. Prior to this, he served as a Board Advisor at DiGas, where he helped raise seed funding and pivoted the company towards new market opportunities.12

Before joining DiGas, Strods was the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of HYGEN, where he managed significant funding rounds and developed partnerships with major companies such as Volkswagen AG and Naturgy. His earlier experience includes roles as a financial analyst and project manager, where he raised substantial funds for various projects.12
