Robert Shanks

Robert Shanks is a highly experienced operations and technology manager with a history of building and leading high performing teams for both virtual and traditional environments. He studied Computer Science at Park University, completed a certificate in Professional Military Education at the USAF NCO Leadership Academy, and earned a Master's in Business Administration with a 3.9 GPA in Information Technology Management at American Public University System. Robert has held various managerial and directorial roles in notable organizations such as Microsoft, Avanade, MACTEC/NexDSS Inc, and NEW ENERGY ASSOCIATES. He has also served in the US Air Force Reserve as the 560 RED HORSE Squadron, Airfields Manager (CMSgt) and previously worked as an ACMI/TACTS Contract Manager/Electronic Field Engineer at Planning Research Corporation Inc.

Robert is highly recognized by his clients for his ability to establish policies and procedures that elevate performance, establish repeatable and predictable quality performance from his team, and achieve their strategic objectives. His championing of training has led him to continuously strive to develop talent, not just in others but also in himself, making him an asset to the team. As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist at Microsoft, he is always looking for talented people to recruit for their custom IT solutions for enterprise customers.
