Robert Redmond is a seasoned Creative Director and Digital Strategist with over 20 years of experience in developing brand strategies, executing advertising campaigns, and creating innovative AI/ML driven experiences. Robert boasts a diverse background that has given him knowledge, understanding, and hands-on experience in multiple disciplines. Robert has worked with Fortune 500 brands to help them relaunch and evolve beyond traditional advertising to digital experiences. Robert led the international team to bring IBM Watson to customers at scale with Watson Ads, the world's first cognitively powered ad experience, and Watson Weather & Media. As a passionate believer in a hands-on process and agility required in the cognitive marketing era, Robert has a comprehensive understanding of creative and technology universe. Robert has directed and edited commercials, created event and on-site experiences, launched SEO and analytics campaigns, and guided the application of new ML/AI techniques to marketing problems.
Robert holds a BFA(3.9) in Illustration from Parsons School of Design and studied Graphic Design at O'More College of Design. Robert is a former IBM Design Principal and Head of AI Ad Product Design, previously Director of AI Design, Watson Advertising, and former Creative & Strategy Director at Watson Advertising at IBM. Robert has also held leadership positions at teamDigital, NelsonMade LLC, Promopath, milk *an advertising agency, Prime Numbers LLC, and Nascent State.
