Robert Niichel

Robert Niichel is a healthcare entrepreneur and visionary, known for his role as the Founder and CEO of SmartTab, a digital drug delivery company at the forefront of wireless ingestible drug delivery technologies for better patient outcomes. He also hosts the digital health innovation podcast, Who Would Have Thought.

With a strong focus on pharmaceutical research and development, Niichel founded Nano Pharmaceutical Laboratories, a company that bridged pharmaceutical technologies into sports nutrition and consumer healthcare markets. He successfully raised capital, launched, and licensed this enterprise before transitioning to SmartTab in 2016.

Having accumulated over two decades of experience in leadership and management within the pharmaceutical industry, Robert Niichel boasts multiple patents in both the United States and globally for pharma/delivery system innovations. He earned a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, Boulder, complementing his Bachelor of Science in Finance Economics from Iowa State University.
