Robert Moss
Co-Founder SeizureTracker.com
Robert Moss is the co-founder of SeizureTracker.com, a comprehensive online seizure diary system.13 He developed the website in 2006 with his wife Lisa after their son Evan was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, a rare genetic disease that causes non-cancerous tumors and is associated with epilepsy.25
Moss created SeizureTracker.com out of necessity when he couldn't find an effective way to track his son's frequent seizures and medication changes.1 The website was launched publicly in 2007 and has since grown to over 34,000 users.2
As a commercial photographer by profession, Moss now manages the development of SeizureTracker.com, focusing on patient-doctor communication.3 He is also the Vice Chair of The Epilepsy Leadership Council.3
SeizureTracker.com has evolved to include various features such as VNS wand tracking, rescue plans, video recording of seizures, and voice-activated seizure tracking using Amazon Alexa.2 Moss continues to work on improving the platform, responding to user requests and incorporating new technologies.2
In addition to managing SeizureTracker.com, Moss is involved in epilepsy research and advocacy. He participates in webinars and conferences to discuss the platform's role in advancing research, particularly in the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex community.46
