Robert Mclaren

Robert McLaren is a highly qualified professional with a background in Philosophy and Adult Dyslexic Learning. He earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy with First Class Honors from King's College London, University of London, and later pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching Adult Dyslexic Learners in Further and Higher Education with Merit from London Metropolitan University. With a strong educational foundation, Robert has ventured into the realm of Assistive and Accessible Technology, holding key positions in various organizations.

Robert's career journey includes notable roles such as Head of Assistive and Accessible Technology, Head of Health and Accessibility, Head of Industry, Technology & Innovation, and Policy Manager focusing on Assistive Technology at Policy Connect. Prior to his current positions, he served as the Assistive Technology Officer on the Executive Committee at The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE) and also operated as an Assistive Technology Consultant at McLaren SpLD Support LTD. His commitment to research was evident during his tenure as a Research Intern at LexAble.
