Robert King is a highly experienced educator, currently serving as a Student Government Teacher and Associated Student Body (ASB) Advisor, as well as an 11th Grade AP United States History Teacher at Palisades Charter High School. He is actively involved in various committees, including the Long Term Strategic Planning Committee and the Palisades Charter High School Election Committee.
With a rich background in education, Robert has taken on diverse roles such as Budget and Finance Committee Chair, Social Studies Department Chair, and leadership positions as a 10th Grade World History Teacher, 12th Grade Government and Economics Teacher, and School Leadership Council Chairman. He also has experience as a Faculty Senate Member, Executive Secretary, UTLA Chapter Chair, and Virtual Academy History Teacher.
Robert King's specialties lie in areas such as Student Government, American Studies, School Budgeting, Departmental Budgeting, Department Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Union Representation, and Technology Integration. His educational journey includes studies at Pepperdine University, University of San Diego, UCLA, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he obtained a Teaching Credential in Social Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History.
Throughout his career, Robert has been actively engaged in various educational organizations. He currently holds the position of History Teacher at Pacific Palisades Charter High School and has previously served as a Teacher Leader at the UCLA History Geography Project and as a History Teacher at Emerson Community Charter School.
