Bob Lewis

Robert J. Lewis, known as Bob Lewis, is a seasoned partner with a background in Global Finance at Sidley's Chicago office.

Bob specializes in representing a wide array of clients such as commercial banks, investment banks, multinational corporations, and investment funds within the global financial services sector.

His expertise lies in structuring, negotiating, and managing syndicated financings, structured finance deals, corporate restructurings, and workouts across various industries including but not limited to consumer goods, energy, financial services, healthcare, oil and gas, real estate, technology, and telecommunications.

Moreover, Bob has a comprehensive understanding of legal issues encompassing green sustainability-linked finance, commercial, bankruptcy, tax, corporate, trust, and securities laws.

He holds a JD in Law from the University of Minnesota Law School, an MPP in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and an AB in Politics from Princeton University.

Prior to his current role, Bob Lewis served as a Partner and previously an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP.
