Robert Hawkins

Robert Hawkins is a seasoned Manager at Hyland Software, overseeing Scrum Masters, RTEs, and programs, with a background spanning 5 years in Project Management and experience in Quality Assurance transitioning to the Agility Enablement group.

Prior to his managerial role, Robert ventured into entrepreneurship by founding his own company in Okinawa. Earlier in his career, he spent 11 years working for an AT&T subsidiary in Tokyo and Okinawa, where he was instrumental in deploying internet and VoIP services to U.S. Military bases in Japan.

Robert Hawkins possesses a wealth of specialties including ECMp, OBP2, CDIA+, and CSM. His skills encompass Project Management, low-level server management, Plone/Django, and he holds a Certified Scrum Master certification. He is also fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Japanese.

Robert's educational background includes a B.A. from Wesleyan University, along with studies at University School, BCC, Bethesda Chevy Chase, and Byron Junior High School.

Throughout his career, Robert has been associated with various organizations such as his current role as Manager of Agility Delivery at Hyland. He has also served as a Yoga Instructor at Rob Hawkins Yoga, Agile Coach, Project Manager, and contractor at different companies including Ingenuity Cleveland, 315 Caxton Inc, realneo, and as the CEO of Ocean Breeze Inc in Japan. Additionally, he held various positions at AT&T Jens Corporation, such as Okinawa Sales Branch Manager, Military Market Manager, among others.
