Robert Guerrero, a Mexican-American professional boxer, has a successful boxing career that began at the age of nine when he trained with his father Ruben Guerrero. Guerrero earned several titles, including IBF featherweight world champion, IBF junior lightweight world champion, WBA interim. Lightweight world champion, and WBC interim welterweight world champion. Guerrero had a record of 36 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw in his 19 year professional boxing career. He retired from boxing in 2017 and shifted his focus to his family and his Christian faith.
Aside from boxing, Guerrero has appeared on television shows such as Dancing with the Stars, GSN's Minute to Win It, and The Contender. He also worked as an analyst for FOX Sports and as a guest commentator for both Showtime and HBO, covering big boxing matches.
Outside of boxing and television, Guerrero is passionate about advocating for organ donation. In 2017, he worked on a documentary called The Fight for Life, which highlights organ donor stories. Guerrero's life has been surrounded by his family, faith, and the sport of boxing.
