Robert FRAeS

Robert Garbett FRAeS is an ex-military entrepreneur who left the military in 2007 as a Major due to injury.

During his military tenure, he gained expertise in aeronautical engineering, airworthiness, aviation risk, technical authorship, standards, planning, and project management.

Robert Garbett is the founder and CEO of Drone Major Group, a leading independent drone and counter-drone consultancy globally.

He specializes in aeronautical engineering, airworthiness, secure software, cyber security, drone and counter-drone technology, strategy development, and project management.

Additionally, Robert holds key positions in various prestigious organizations, such as the British Standards Institute (BSI), the International Standards Organisation (ISO), and the European Committee for Standardization.

He is also the driving force behind the UK's Drone Delivery Group, aiming to commercialize the drone industry and provide strategic insights to the government.

Robert Garbett studied Electronic Systems Engineering at Cranfield University.
