Robert Cohen is a seasoned leader and strategic thinker with over 25 years of hands-on experience using and commercializing industry-leading molecular biology products. He has extensive experience working with customers, commercial and R&D teams, and executives to identify, launch and support new products, services and applications across the basic research, clinical and applied markets. He has a BS in Premedicine, German Literature from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.

He currently works as a Partner and Managing Director at Chrysalis Biomedical Advisors, where he provides strategic advice to companies in the life sciences industry. Prior to this, he served as the Director Core Lab Marketing and Director, Actionable Genome Consortium at Illumina, where he led the development and marketing of the company's core lab and clinical genomics products. He has also held various positions at Agilent Technologies, Scientia Advisors, Applied Biosystems, and Navigant.
