Robert Chiu

Robert Chiu is an accomplished lawyer with diverse experience in legal research, marketing, teaching, and leadership roles. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto, with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University. Robert also pursued his education from Singapore Management University and The University of Hong Kong.

Robert started his career as a Pharmacy Assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart, a prominent Canadian retail pharmacy chain, before moving to the legal field. He worked as a Summer Associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, a global law firm where he currently serves with distinction as an Associate. He also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Anver Emon at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, where he honed his legal research and writing skills.

Robert's interest in the intersection of law and international affairs led him to work as a Legal Intern at the Office of the Registrar at ICTY, a UN-backed tribunal established to prosecute individuals responsible for the war crimes in Former Yugoslavia. His passion for marketing and business development led him to intern with Clinton Global Initiative and work as a Growth Analyst at Uplette, a marketing firm.

Robert also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Queen's School of Business, where he assisted in teaching a course on introductory accounting principles.
