Robert Bard is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LATINA Style, Inc., a leading publication that celebrates and empowers professional Latinas in the United States. He has been at the helm of the magazine for over 20 years, carrying on the vision of its founder, Anna Maria Arias, who passed away suddenly in 2001.1
Under Bard's leadership, LATINA Style has become a powerful voice for Latina professionals, with a readership of close to 600,000 and partnerships with major Hispanic and women's organizations.1 The magazine's initiatives, such as the LATINA Style 50 Report and the LATINA Style Business Series, have gained national recognition and support from prominent figures in Washington, D.C., including former Vice President Al Gore's wife, Tipper Gore, and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.1
Bard's commitment to the Latino community extends beyond his work at LATINA Style. He has been actively involved in the National Hispanic Publisher's Association, where his wife, Lupita Colmenero, served as the first Latina president.1 Together, they have been instrumental in bringing recognition to Latina professionals and fostering a sense of community among them.
