Robert Ball

Robert Ball is a highly skilled business development executive and legal professional with a strong background in cybersecurity, data privacy, telecom, networking, predictive analytics, encryption, and e-commerce.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a J.D. in Law from the University of Georgia School of Law and also holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Robert has held various important roles in different organizations including Chief Business Development Officer, General Counsel, and Global Privacy Officer at Ionic Security (later acquired by Twilio). He has also been a TAG Member at the US Technical Advisory Group for Privacy by Design, Chair of the Policy Council at the National Technology Security Coalition, and a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland.

His previous roles include being the COO & CFO at Reach Analytics (acquired by Data Decisions Group), Co-Founder & CEO at OfficeArrow, and holding multiple high-ranking positions at Akamai Technologies including COO International, VP Business Development, General Counsel, and VP Product Marketing. He has also served as a Partner at Alston & Bird.
