Robbert Quaak

Robbert Quaak is an experienced professional with a strong operational background in the oil and gas industry, specifically working offshore on FPSO vessels across various continents for the past two decades.

He has been actively engaged in the commissioning of 4 FPSO vessels, including a Generation 3 vessel, overseeing operations from the shipyard through all stages and effectively managing challenges that arise during the process.

Robbert is known for his ability to work harmoniously with individuals from diverse backgrounds, leading his production teams by setting a positive example with his practical mindset and composed demeanor.

In his role as a Production Supervisor and ePTW Coordinator at SBM Offshore, he handles supervisory responsibilities along with efficiently managing permit coordination with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

He also holds a Fire Team Member/Leader certificate and actively participates in emergency response teams offshore, ensuring his skills in safety and emergency procedures are always up to date.

Robbert Quaak pursued his education in Operational Technology, earning a BSc degree from Hogeschool Zeeland (Zeeland Polytechnic), in addition to completing his secondary education at Hulst.

His professional journey includes positions such as Process Operator at ENI-Lasmo Netherlands B.V., Production Coordinator at EPZ Eindhoven, and his current role as a Production Supervisor on FPSO Capixaba offshore Vitoria, ES at SBM Offshore.
