Highlights
Working my way through the book “The moth in the iron lung.” It’s a history of polio, I’m only 1/3 of the way through but very interesting. One stand out is it was common practice to apply lead arsenate to produce from the early 1900’s as late as 1960.
This was “standard practice” and concerns about the toxicity concerns were crushed until quite late in the game.
Fortunately, science has evolved past practices like this…
How many ways to be wrong!? -total input is closer to 2% -Thant input is meaningless as it’s part of a cycle. -lab grown meat is far worse from an energy inputs perspective
-but please DO make a few more of these public so I can short them.
