Rob van Hout is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in International Development and Environmental Management.
He acquired his MA degree in International Development and Environmental Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, following his BA studies in Geography, Environmental Management, and International Development at Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg.
Rob has served in various senior roles within reputable organizations, including his current position as the Senior Advisor for Market Systems and Skills Development at CARITAS Switzerland.
He has worked as an International Consultant focusing on Knowledge Management at Helvetas and held positions as a Consultant and Researcher at Joyn-coop, Terre des hommes, Slow Food, and other notable entities.
Additionally, Rob has contributed to the development of industry standards and best practices as a member of the Steering Committee for the Code of Good Practice for Assessing the Impact at ISEAL.
His previous experience includes critical roles such as the Strategy and Policy Manager and Standards Project Manager at Fairtrade International (FLO), showcasing his expertise in driving sustainable and ethical practices within the international arena.
