    Rob Roberts is an accomplished electro-mechanical engineer who has an extensive background in designing consumer electronics for renowned companies such as BMW, Nike, Flip, Microsoft, and COIN. With expertise in hardware specialties like NPI, DFM, capacitive touch solutions, sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers, his contributions are evident in widely-used products. Rob is also credited as the principal author of a 3D printer patent. In 2012, he transitioned from hardware to Product Management at Autodesk, focusing on software innovations for 3D Printing, Lazing, and CNC Machining. Leveraging his electronics knowledge, Rob later spearheaded a web-based electronic simulation app, fostering a community of electronics enthusiasts at Autodesk's 123D Circuits.
