We are now launching a new music festival in Oslo and Nydalen. It is a tribute to Oslo and the river Akerselva. Langs Akerselva has a strong focus on sustainability that can be reflected in our program. We dedicate an entire day to a professional sustainability conference ahead of the festival. Friday and Saturday are traditional festival days with great bands and artists, while the last festival day is a family day.

In addition, we arrange together with BI Univeristy in Oslo an annual Sustainable City and Community conference ahead of the music festival. The goal of the initiative is to arrange an annual festival in various spots along the river Akerselva starting from Maridalsvannet in the north and the Oslofjord in the south, and all the way through our city, Oslo.

Nabolagsbevegelsen is an association whose mandate is to activate our neighbourhoods at the same time as we put our buildings, squares, and parks into operation. We have created an annual cycle (årshjul), and we are also creating a movement of neighbours who arrange and participate so that the neighbourhoods become safe, good and inspiring for today’s and future neighbours. It is important for us that children and young people in the neighbourhood make good memories by joining our various activities. This is our No. 1 success criterion.

The association's mandate is to develop and run a music festival, as well as create a youth movement in Hamar / Innlandet. Roar Smelhus is the Co-founder and mentor for the youth. The idea behind it is for the youth to do as much of the work themselves as possible.

Roar Smelhus is a co-founder and CMO at OnSiteViewer, a company set to revolutionize the way we plan our cities - empowering stakeholders of all kinds to make radically better decisions by experiencing physically accurate 1:1 scale real-time visualizations of proposed buildings in their actual environment.

We are a group of passionate individuals with a broad range of expertise from the XR and construction industries joined together in 2020 to solve one of the greatest challenges around the planning and design of our built environment. 

We combine AR Cloud + 5G Edge-based raytracing using our unique combination of physically accurate materials on building proposals, together with a photorealistic digital twin of environment based on HD reality capture.

Roar Smelhus is the founder of the festival “Over Brumunddal”, which is a platform for the municipality’s 3.0 transition to the low-emission society by 2030. The festival was arranged for the second time in 2021.

We look for good investment objects in the early stages, and we invest in capital, expertise, and time. We have a long horizon for our investments.

For the results of a project to be sustainable, we need a solid foundation and a good process where collaboration is central. Project managers of the future will be associated with a platform rather than a company, and the idea with SGL is to be such a platform in the long run. So far, SGL is a concept where we develop the tool.

Roar Smelhus is a founder of the festival “Nabolagsfestivalen”, which was arranged for the fourth time in 2021. The festival was on the official program of “Oslo as European Environmental Capital” in 2019 and received green funds from the district Nordre Aker.

Roar Smelhus is a founder and sustainability advisor at 6C_ST, a company that aims to contribute to Norway's and the world's transition to the low-emission society through various initiatives and projects in collaboration with its extensive network of partners. The company name comes from carbon (6C in the periodic table) and represents the climate challenges. In the name, there is a gap between 6C and ST, and it is precisely this gap that the company aims to fill through Sustainability (S) and Technology (T).
