Currently leading the Partner's ML team at Shipt, he focuses on developing ML models and systems to enhance the grocery delivery platform.

In his prior role at Varo Bank, Ritesh led the development of the ML platform, feature store, and a categorization model for identifying payroll direct deposits.

With a strong background working at tech giants like Uber, Netflix, and AT&T, Ritesh has applied ML techniques to diverse domains such as location disambiguation, ad click prediction, and query classification.

Ritesh holds a PhD in Geography with specializations in GIS, knowledge management, and information retrieval from Penn State University, and master's degrees in Transportation Engineering/GIS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Civil Engineering with a focus on GIS from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
