Rishi Soni

Rishi Soni is an experienced M&A/VC investor and advisor who has closed transactions totaling over $2.5 billion. With over 14 years of experience working with the M&A teams of E&Y, J.P. Morgan, and KPMG, Soni has honed his skills in deal origination, execution, diligence, documentation, and managing consultants for pre-and-post deal closure processes. Currently holding a dual role of investing and corporate strategy at Brand Capital, the strategic VC of Times Group with a $4 billion fund, he has worked on some of the largest deals in India, including Delhi Airport's $150 million bond placement and KKR India's acquisition of Alliance Tire Group. Soni's work experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of M&A in India, and he believes that investing in India requires specific skills and an appreciation of the challenges typical entrepreneurs face.
