Rimas Orentas

Rimas Orentas is a highly accomplished professional with expertise in Adoptive Immunotherapy, Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CAR), CAR-T, T cell receptor (TCR), Cancer Research, Immunology Research, Clinical Trials, Grant Writing, and Scientific Proposal Review.

He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and holds a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland.

Rimas Orentas currently serves as the Director of the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at SEATTLE CHILDRENS RESEARCH INSTITUTE.

His previous roles include being a Professor at the University of Washington - School of Medicine, Director of Scientific Integration at CureWorks - Seattle Children's Research Institute, Principal Investigator at Seattle Children's Research Institute, and Scientific Director at Lentigen Technology Inc., a Miltenyi Biotec Company.
