Riley Rodgers

Riley Rodgers is a Principal at Valia Ventures, where he focuses on supporting the firm's existing portfolio and identifying new entrepreneurs to invest in. His role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong intuition for promising business ideas. Since joining Valia in January 2017, he has been instrumental in the early-stage investment landscape, particularly in sectors like digital health, fintech, and AI.14

Before his tenure at Valia Ventures, Riley worked as an Associate at Arctaris Capital Partners and founded a startup called Crash Alert, which aimed to detect and report car accidents. He has also dedicated significant time to mentoring startup founders through various organizations, including the MIT Enterprise Forum and MassChallenge, and has served as a board member for several nonprofits.134

Riley holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from Bentley University, where he concentrated on entrepreneurship. He has also studied international business at IESE Business School.24 Outside of his professional life, Riley is an avid traveler, having visited 39 countries, and enjoys outdoor activities like soccer, motorcycle racing, and snowboarding.13
