Riley's career commenced at a technical recruiting agency in Chicago, where they began as an entry-level recruiter and eventually advanced to a team manager role. Subsequently, Riley transitioned to Yello, a recruitment software start-up, where they played a pivotal role in expanding the company from around 30 to 200 employees within three years. This experience honed Riley's skills in team building and talent acquisition.

In 2018, seeking a fresh challenge, Riley made the move to San Francisco to join 100x Group, the company behind BitMEX, a leading peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading platform. Tasked with spearheading the recruitment function, Riley serves as the primary recruiter overseeing talent acquisition efforts across various departments and international offices in San Francisco, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bermuda.

Riley Hutchinson studied Bachelor of Arts with a focus on Communications and Art History at Lake Forest College. Throughout their career, Riley has held key roles such as Principal Recruiter and Director of Recruiting at notable organizations including HOVER Inc., Yello, and 100x Group. Additionally, Riley has extensive experience in executive search, senior recruitment, and managerial positions within the recruitment domain.
