Rikkae Wesson is a Colorado-based engineer-in-progress with a passion for community code development, devops, cloud security, Linux systems administration, and infrastructure as code. With a background in finance, including a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University-Global Campus and two years of study in Accounting and Finance at Mesa Community College, Rikkae is a self-starter who is learning and growing every day. She began her career as an accounting admin at iCoStore, LLC, before working as an accounting assistant at Neuheisel Law Firm, an accounting manager at Lotus Concepts Management Company, a junior accountant at Conergy, a staff accountant at BMGI, a global finance manager at Velocity Global, LLC, and a GL Accountant at Elastic and Brandfolder. Currently, Rikkae is working as a software engineer at Elastic, where she is pursuing RHCSA certification from RedHat and honing her skills in Linux OS, Github, and Ansible.
