Rick Ziwot, President and CIO at Carapace Financial Advisors

Rick Ziwot is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Carapace Financial Advisors. He founded the firm and has over 30 years of experience managing and structuring complex market-linked securities on Wall Street.1

Prior to founding Carapace, Rick held senior positions at several major financial institutions:

• Managing Director at HSBC, where he served as the Global Head of Structured Credit Products and was responsible for the Structured Funds business in New York1
• Managing Director at Bank of America from 1994 to 2001, where he served as the Head of Liability Management and Global Head of Structured Credit Products1
• Various senior positions at Lehman Brothers from 1985 to 1994, including European Head of Structured New Issue Derivatives, Head of Midwest Derivatives Sales and Marketing, and Head of US Corporate Liability Management1

Rick graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics and History. He currently holds the Series 65 securities license and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Hope through Education - A Fund for Better Futures, Inc.1
