Rick Omanson is a well-known User Experience (UX) expert with over two decades of experience in the field. Rick currently serves as the Vice President of User Experience at Ipsos, a top-notch market research firm that offers design consulting and user research services. He has also worked as a consultant for more than ten years and as an adjunct faculty member at several institutions. His background includes a Ph.D. in Cognitive Development from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Rick has an extensive background in user interface design, user research, and usability testing. His accomplishments include four user interface patents, over 15 articles, and more than 40 conference papers presenting on various topics, such as reading comprehension, program evaluation, human factors, and web design, to name a few. His impressive resume includes past experiences working as Senior User Interface Designer at Infogix, Director at User Centric, Director of Information Architecture at iXL/Razorfish, and adjunct faculty member at North Central College and DePaul University.
