Rick Lobato

Rick Lovato is a professional NFL long snapper, currently playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. Born on March 19, 1992, he grew up in Lincroft, New Jersey, where he worked at his family's deli, Joyce's Subs and Pizza, while pursuing his dream of playing in the NFL. Lovato attended Old Dominion University, where he had a successful college football career as a long snapper, playing in 50 games without any errant snaps.12

After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, Lovato signed with the Chicago Bears but was released before the season began. He then had a brief stint with the Green Bay Packers before joining the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017. Lovato played a crucial role in helping the Eagles win their first Super Bowl championship during the 2017 season and was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2019. He has continued to be an integral part of the Eagles' special teams unit and signed a one-year contract extension to remain with the team.12
