Rick Fitz

Rick Fitz is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Contrast Security, a company focused on code security solutions. He took on this role in April 2023, succeeding Alan Naumann, who continues to serve on the board as an advisor and President. Fitz has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, particularly in building enterprise software and scaling high-growth companies.

Before joining Contrast Security, Fitz was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Splunk’s IT Operations & Application Development Market Group. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in leading the company through multiple acquisitions and launching innovative products. His extensive background in software development and business-to-business (B2B) enterprise technology positions him well to drive Contrast's growth and innovation in the fragmented application security market.

Fitz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of the Pacific and an MBA from Golden Gate University.
