Richelle has an extensive background in academia, having served in various roles at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, including Associate Professor, Director of Digital Innovation, Director of Digital Media in Education, and Director of the New Media Program.
Prior to her roles at Medill, Richelle Gordon worked as the New Media Director at The Miami Herald Publishing Co. and held positions such as Weekend Editor and Newsroom Technology Coordinator at the same organization.
She also has experience from her time at the Palm Beach Post where she served as Projects Editor and Assistant City Editor, and at the Richmond Times-Dispatch where she was the Assistant State Editor and Reporter/Editor for the Virginia desk.
