Richard Takhun

Richard Takhun is a dedicated individual with a passion for helping others thrive and succeed. With a background in education and charity work, Richard has volunteered as an English teacher at orphanage schools in Mandalay, Myanmar, and also dedicated a year of service at the National Australia library. His commitment to giving back to the community led him to initiate the D&T Myanmar charity programs, focusing on providing wells and schools in central Myanmar. Currently, Richard is at the helm of Uplift Myanmar, leading efforts to address poverty issues in the country. His expertise spans social innovation, enterprise, rural development, economics, finance, strategic planning, leadership development, risk management, business development, and governance.
