Richard Shum is a seasoned professional currently spearheading the development of mobile and connected experience products at Splunk. With a rich background in product management and technology, Richard has held key roles at Facebook, McKinsey, and Expedia, displaying leadership and expertise across various industries and domains.

At Facebook, Richard managed product data operations, leading teams and collaborating closely with engineering to enhance products through data-driven insights. Prior to that, his tenure at McKinsey as an Engagement Manager involved serving clients from diverse sectors in growth strategy, M&A, process optimization, and technology enablement.

Richard's career journey also includes impactful experiences such as being a Kiva Fellow in Kenya, where he worked with microfinance institutions to implement operational enhancements and train loan officers.
