Richard Roccanova Jr. is an experienced executive with over 18 years of expertise in property and casualty claims handling across 12 states in the US. Roccanova boasts of his advanced knowledge and application of NYS insurance auto claim regulations. He prides himself for being able to effectively monitor day to day auto physical damage claims as well as working with a diverse group of claims personnel while ensuring regulatory compliance, cost reduction improvements, superior customer service standards and effective workflow processes.
Roccanova acquired his Management Essentials Program certification from Harvard Business School and is currently studying for his AIC (Associate in Claims) at The Institutes. Additionally, he has studied tractor-trailer estimatics at the Vale National Training Center and BA in Social Studies at City University of New York-Brooklyn College, among others.
Formerly the National Auto Physical Damage Claims Supervisor at Mapfre, Roccanova is currently the Material Damage Claims Supervisor at Plymouth Rock Assurance. He's had experience coordinating Sigma Alpha Mu's Golf Outing for Autism Speaks as well as serving as the Senior Options Analyst at ING and Management Trainee for Option Operations at Bear Stearns.
