Richard Reed, P.E., is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer and Project Manager with a strong background in the Commercial Building industry.

With a focus on preconstruction, estimating, buyout, financial analysis, and subcontractor management, Richard excels in delivering projects on time and within budget.

He is known for his critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to fostering a safety-conscious work environment.

Richard values mentorship and teamwork, emphasizing the importance of guiding junior staff members and building lasting relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants, and Subcontractors.

His expertise spans a wide range of areas including contract writing, scheduling, cost projections, RFI's, submittals, change orders, and review/evaluation of architectural and engineering drawings.

Additionally, Richard is well-versed in design/build projects, sustainability practices, LEED and LBC certifications, civil engineering, structural engineering, mock-ups, and project delivery & closeout processes.

He holds a B.S. in Structural Engineering with a focus on Civil Structures from the University of California, San Diego.

Richard's professional journey includes roles as Assistant Project Manager at Hathaway Dinwiddie, Associate Engineer at Kleinfelder, Project Engineer at Group Delta Consultants and Geotechnics Incorporated, and Staff Engineer at Geotechnics Incorporated.

He has also contributed to research projects as a Research Assistant at UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering.
