Realon is a residential real estate brokerage company that operates today in Appleton, Wisconsin. It was developed in an incubator over  a number of years as a new business model designed to greatly improve the inefficiencies of the residential real estate brokerage industry. The business was purchased by its own employees in 2005 and continues to deliver a higher level of service to its service area today.

The business delivers the highest level of customer service through a number of improvements over the traditional business model. It brings an advanced system to an industry which has not substantially changed for over 100 years.

Traditional real estate has relied on a fragmented, chaotic, and loosely managed network of independent contractor real estate agents to provide services to the consumer. The consistent result of this system has been an inconsistent quality of service and poor financial results.  Many large business organizations such as Sears, American Airlines, Merrill-Lynch, and Control Data Corporation to name a few, that have succeeded in other industries have failed with their efforts to penetrate the industry.  Our research indicates that the even the most recent entries to the field do not utilize the components necessary for total success.

The real estate industry's size, traditions, myths, and failures have blinded the industry and the outside world to the fundamental flaws and therefore inconsistent service levels.

Realon has designed, implemented, and proven a completely new way to provide real estate services. It is a fundamental change in the business model for operating a real estate company.

Woodfield Village - A phased mixed use development project in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Phase 1 has been  successfully completed and consists of 60 zero lot line single family homes. Phase 2 is in process and will contain approximately 400,000 square feet of condominiums, retail, rent by choice, senior housing and office space when completed.

As the CEO of Corporate Relocation Services, I focused on managing our client's relocations as if they were our own. We found a great deal of satisfaction in regularly outperforming our industry benchmarks based on CRS's knowledge and experience both within the US and internationally. With an extensive background in real estate, my goal within the company was to not only maintain CRS's solid track record, but to also continually innovate our business to match the dynamic buying and selling environment. Sub Franchisor, Electronic Realty Associates (ERA) - Owned and operated ERA Mid-America with operating responsibilities in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, and a part of Illinois.  Ultimately the region was purchased by the parent company when ERA Corporate was purchased by Cendant.

An adaptive re-use project in the Village of Allouez. This project involved the successful conversion of the former Hoegrave Brewery ( and later, Reimer Meats ) into a luxury 4 story office building. This project was a success, in part, through the proper coordination of architects, engineers, planners, contractors and a field sales force. The building contains approximately 49,000 square feet of space and has made a significant contribution to the tax base in the village.

Principal designer of ERA’s “Sellers Security Plan”. A guaranteed sale program for homeowners who wanted to purchase a new home, but had to sell their old home first. Trained ERA member brokers and agents nationwide on implementation. This program is still operational nationally today. Consulted in the successful integration of Relocation Realty Services (RRS), a third party home purchase company into the ERA system. Also consulted in large broker franchise sales throughout U.S.

Electronic Realty Associates

Developed 25 residential subdivisions ranging in size from nine lots to over one hundred lots throughout the Green Bay area. Values of lots in these subdivisions, adjusted for time, range from the mid teens on the low end to over one hundred thousand dollars on the high end. Market research, intuition and timing, plus market knowledge was instrumental in the success of each one of these projects.
