Richard Mawarire

Richard Mawarire is currently the Assets and Liabilities Manager at Steward Bank, where he plays a key role in managing the bank's financial strategies, particularly in the areas of assets and liabilities management, fixed income, and foreign exchange trading. He has a strong background in digital financial services and is responsible for driving Steward Bank's digital financial strategy across various card services.13

In addition to his managerial role, Mawarire is an IVLP Fellow and a YALI Alumni, indicating his involvement in leadership development programs. He has also been active in sharing insights on banking practices and has participated as a panelist at industry conferences organized by entities such as the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce.34 His educational achievements include completing an MBA, with his dissertation published internationally.5
