Richard Lyne is a highly accomplished music industry executive with an extensive background across all areas of the music business. He has worked in music distribution, label services, record labels, publishing, and music-tech. In addition to possessing exceptional A&R, marketing, and business development experience, Richard is also a proven creative. He has a worldwide network of relationships, which he has cultivated through his work in the music industry. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Psychology, as well as a Master's Degree in Creative and Media Enterprises from the University of Warwick. He has been nominated for a “Marketing Genius” Award at the American Association of Independent Music Awards.

Richard founded Canvas Music Distribution and has worked as an A&R Consultant at Symphonic Distribution, Warner Music Group, and Kobalt Music. He has also worked as Senior Artist Relations Manager at SoundCloud, Vice President of A&R at PledgeMusic, Producer Manager at Reverb Publishing/XL Talent, A&R at Sony Music Entertainment, and has held a strategic marketing role at Universal Music Group.
