Richard Langton, MD, MPH
Richard Langton, MD, MPH is the Deputy Director for Quality at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He is also a Captain in the United States Navy and serves as the Chief of the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Division at the Defense Health Agency Public Health Directorate.2
Dr. Langton received his medical degree and completed his residency training at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU).1 He also holds a Master of Public Health degree.2
In his role as Deputy Director for Quality at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Dr. Langton oversees quality improvement initiatives and ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care. As Chief of the Armed Forces Health Surveillance Division, he leads efforts to monitor and analyze health trends among U.S. military members and associated populations.2
