Currently, Richard serves as a Non-Executive Director at Open Energi and LYTT, while also being a board member of Fotech within BP Launchpad, focusing on corporate venture and scaling up digital energy businesses to facilitate the energy transition.

His educational background includes studying for a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Bayes Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The University of Edinburgh, and a 2:1 degree in Law from the University of Aberdeen.
