Richard Heslop

Richard Heslop is a seasoned product manager and information systems expert with over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. He holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town. Heslop has worked in a variety of organizations, including startups, consultancies, and global software vendors, and has experience in diverse industry settings such as banking, insurance, education, health, HR, and marketing.

Heslop is a dedicated and analytical team player who excels in environments where products solve real and important problems and where teams are comprised of talented peers. He has held leadership positions with JaSure (Pty) Ltd, Praekelt.org, Jurumani Solutions, The Career Canvas, Chillisoft Solutions Services Pty (Ltd), Agrista, and Business Systems Group (Africa). Additionally, he has experience as a business analyst and lead consultant in Calypso Technology and Business Systems Group (Africa), respectively.

Outside of work, Heslop enjoys international travel, surfing, golfing, exploring new foods, and brewing beer.
