Richard Harrington, PMP

Richard Harrington is the CEO of ThinkTAP, a position he has held since January 2017. He is based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area and is recognized as an expert in photography, motion graphic design, and digital video. Harrington has a diverse background in the visual communications industry, having founded RHED Pixel, a visual communications company, and served as a publisher for Photofocus, a platform dedicated to photography and video content.

In addition to his role at ThinkTAP, Harrington has had a significant career in various leadership positions, including Chief Product Evangelist and Vice President of Product Management at Skylum Software. He is also an accomplished author, having written several influential books in the field, such as "Photoshop for Video" and "An Editor's Guide to Adobe Premiere Pro." His contributions extend to teaching and speaking engagements, where he shares his expertise in digital media and project management.12

Harrington holds a Master's Degree in Project Management and is a certified instructor for both Adobe and Apple. He has received multiple awards for his work, including the Congressional Award Medal and the CINE Golden Eagle Award, reflecting his impact on the industry and his commitment to education and community service.1
