Dr. Richard Fallon is the Chair of Starting Point Recruitment (SPR), a role he has held since April 2022. He is also a co-Director of the Technology Supply Chain and the co-founder of the Innovation Awards. In his capacity as Chair, Fallon guides the board in establishing and executing the company's strategic direction, which aligns with its core values of connecting companies with talent in the West Midlands. Notably, SPR donates 100% of its profits to charity, significantly contributing to social impact in the region, amounting to over £779,600 per week.135
In addition to his role at SPR, Fallon is involved with the Technology Supply Chain, a community interest company that supports West Midlands manufacturing, engineering, and technology firms by providing access to grants and new opportunities. He also runs a marketing consultancy called the Marketing Engineer, where he assists businesses with their marketing strategies.124
