Richard Collins

Richard Collins is a highly experienced systems professional with a strong background in retail systems, financial systems, and data migration/legacy system transformation technologies.

With a core technical skillset that includes Unix, SQL (Oracle, MySQL, DB2), COBOL, scripting (Perl, Ruby, Shell), Richard has extensive expertise in ITIL service management, system administration, data migration, and system development.

Richard pursued his education at Hazel Grove High School and later obtained an MSc in Computing from Keele University. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History with Archaeology, achieving a 2:1 at Bangor University.

Throughout his career, Richard has held key positions in various organizations. He has worked as a System Specialist at Accenture, Application Specialist at Argos, and consultant at Spargonet and Xitec. Prior to these roles, he served as an Application Developer at Booker Group.
