Richard Byers

Richard Byers is an accomplished product design consultant with over 18 years of industry experience. He holds a BA in Industrial Design from the University of Canberra and has served as a judge for the Korean Good Design Awards Selection. Byers specializes in VR concept design and evaluation using Gravity Sketch on HTC and Oculus, as well as advanced conceptual and production 3D surfacing with Autodesk AliasStudio. He has extensive experience in product design consulting, having worked on a wide range of projects, including wearables for consumers, medical, and banking industries for startups and global leading clients.

Byers has held numerous positions throughout his career, including Head of Concept at Design + Industry Pty Ltd, Artist in Residence at Hiyori Art Center and The Edge, State Library of Queensland, Freelance Visualist at Ultra Super New, Creative Director at Design + Industry, and more. He excels in his craft and is highly regarded for his creative skills, expertise, and attention to detail.
