Richard Burcat

Richard Burcat is an Aerospace Engineer with a strong background in supporting flight operations for NASA's Earth Observing System, specifically the Aqua and Aura satellites.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in International Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.

Currently, Richard is working as the Aqua/Aura Satellite GNC Engineer at Relative Dynamics Inc., where he contributes his expertise in satellite operations.

In the past, he has held various roles such as Aqua/Aura Satellite EPS/TCS Engineer and On-Console Engineer at Relative Dynamics Inc., showcasing his versatility and experience.

Richard also has a diverse work history including positions such as Residential Energy Auditor at greeNEWit, Facility Leader I at Roger Carter Community Center, and Parks Maintenance Worker at Rockburn Branch Park.

His passion for environmental conservation led him to serve as an AmeriCorps Volunteer with the Maryland Conservation Corps, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community.
