During my tenure as a senior software engineer, I gained proficiency in TypeScript and honed my skills in functional reactive programming. Notably, I contributed to the development of a high-performance front-end for a customer portal, delivering exceptional results for a power supply company. Additionally, I designed a near-realtime API for seamless consumption data transfer, employing Node.js for implementation. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in migrating an iPad application to React Native and prototyped an enterprise-grade application for a sales department.

In this role, I entered the emerging market of iPad digital magazines, quickly establishing a new company leveraging my managerial experience. As one of the pioneering providers in Germany, we secured Rolling Stone magazine as a prestigious client. I recruited and coached a team to build apps and websites for upscale brands like GQ, Audi, Roland Berger, Commerzbank, and Musikexpress. Implementing Scrum and Kanban methodologies, I effectively managed the workload and maintained motivation. I trained designers to become creative developers, and as an executive partner, I took on various roles including lead developer, product manager, account manager, marketer, and consultant. Additionally, I played a key role in guiding the team to deliver exceptional results while providing support and ensuring timely delivery.

• Creating a team of developers and designers to deliver beautiful, user-friendly apps and websites for diverse devices and browsers.
• Gathering client requirements and providing accurate cost estimations and quotations through regular communication.

During my tenure in this role, I successfully managed the operations of our family business branch office, overseeing a team of up to 40 employees. When I assumed responsibility for the office, it was facing financial challenges. To address this, I implemented strategic changes, such as restructuring teams, boosting sales efforts, and discontinuing unprofitable projects. Additionally, I introduced agile methodologies within the product development team, empowering functional team members to take ownership of their team's success. As a result of these efforts, by the time I transitioned to pursue my own entrepreneurial venture, the office had achieved financial stability.

In this role, my responsibilities encompassed various aspects:

• I held personnel accountability for a diverse workforce, including engineering, IT, and administration professionals, involving setting individual targets and creating development plans.
• I played a pivotal role in talent management, which involved selecting and coaching three functional team managers, as well as recruiting, hiring, and conducting layoffs of engineers, developers, and administrative staff.
• Engaging in regular client communications, I effectively gathered functional requirements and assigned the appropriate teams to fulfill their needs.
• Leveraging my expertise in both IT and business, I assumed responsibility for the technical and financial success of four applications, overseeing their migration to web platforms.
• Facilitating a series of workshops in collaboration with co-equal managers, I shared insights on agile methodologies and strategic planning.
• I maintained financial control by overseeing monthly and yearly budgeting and revenue analysis.

These experiences have equipped me with a robust skill set in team leadership, talent management, client engagement, technical expertise, and financial control.
