Richard Bovell
Information-Knowledge Theorist, AI Advocate, and Entrepreneur
Richard Bovell is an Information-Knowledge Theorist and the founder of Bov Academy of Programming. He has a diverse background as a computer scientist and trained biochemist, having spent over 12 years exploring various disciplines, including economics, psychology, physics, philosophy, history, anthropology, and neuroscience. This interdisciplinary approach led him to develop a new academic discipline focused on addressing complex humanistic issues, particularly in underrepresented regions such as the Global South and the Black diaspora.1
In addition to his theoretical work, Bovell is the founder and CEO of AI Humanity, an initiative aimed at tackling significant educational challenges. He is also recognized for his contributions to JavaScript education through his popular blog, which remains a valuable resource despite his cessation of blogging activities years ago. Furthermore, he has authored two books on writing to help others improve their skills in this area.
Bovell graduated with a bachelor's degree from The George Washington University, further establishing his credentials as a thought leader in the field of Knowledge Theory.
