Richard Allinson

Richard Allinson is a Partner at Bain & Company and Co-Founder of The Font Climbing, a London-based climbing centre operator.2 He co-founded The Font in March 2020, providing world-class bouldering, functional fitness, and social spaces.21

Professionally, Richard has been with Bain & Company since September 2013, progressing through various roles including Associate Consultant, Senior Associate Consultant, Consultant, Case Team Leader, Manager, and Associate Partner before becoming a Partner in January 2022.2 He is a member of Bain's global Private Equity Practice, focusing on supporting financial investors across the investment lifecycle.2

Richard has over 12 years of consulting experience, with a sector focus primarily on Business Services, Industrials, and Consumer-facing businesses.2 He holds an MA in Management and an LLB in Law from Durham University.12

Outside of his professional life, Richard is a passionate endurance athlete, participating in events such as the Norseman Extreme Triathlon and the Highland Ultra Marathon.2 He also has a history of charitable work, having served as Challenge Director for Limitless Challenge, where he coordinated endurance events that raised over £25,000 for wounded veterans.12
