Richard Allinson

Richard Allinson is a law graduate from Durham University who has made a successful career in management consulting, starting with Capgemini Consulting in London and later moving on to Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant in 2013.

Throughout his tenure at Bain & Company, Richard has showcased a diverse skill set in strategy, due diligence, cost reduction, and organization design across multiple sectors like Retail, Consumer Products, Leisure, Industrials, and Aerospace & Defence in the UK, Europe, and Australia.

In his role as a Manager at Bain & Company, Richard has focused on serving Private Equity clients on commercial diligence and portfolio strategy as a valuable member of Bain's 'Private Equity Group'.

Apart from his professional pursuits, Richard is deeply passionate about adventure and endurance sports, actively participating in extreme events to raise funds for veterans charity 'Walking with the Wounded', having raised over £25K to date.

His educational background includes a Master's degree in Management and a Bachelor's degree in Law, both from the University of Durham. Richard has been associated with various organizations and held key positions such as Co-Founder at The Font, Associate Partner, Manager, Case Team Leader, Consultant, and Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, among others.

Richard Allinson's achievements include completing Ironman Wales, Lands End to John o Groats cycle in 5 days, an unsupported 120-mile continuous kayak in 36 hours, an unsupported 90-mile continuous walk (UK coast-to-coast) in 32 hours, and participating in the Norseman Extreme Triathlon.
